Security at RankWithLinks

How we protect your data and ensure the integrity of our SEO services.

Our Commitment to Security

At RankWithLinks, security is at the core of our platform. We understand that your SEO data and link-building strategies are sensitive business assets. We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction.

Data Encryption

All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols. Your data at rest is stored in secure, encrypted databases with restricted access controls.

Third-Party Services

We carefully vet all third-party vendors and partners. Any service provider we use must meet our strict security requirements and adhere to best practices for data protection.

Account Protection

We encourage all users to use strong, unique passwords. We support multi-factor authentication (MFA) to provide an extra layer of security for your account.

Reporting Vulnerabilities

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in our platform, please contact us immediately at security@rankwithlinks.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate them promptly.

What Access We Ask For, and Why

SEO work sometimes needs access to systems you own. We ask for the minimum required for the task at hand, and we explain what each request is for before we make it.

  • Google Search Console. Needed to diagnose indexing and crawl problems and to measure results. Read access is enough for most work.
  • Google Analytics. Read access, to connect organic traffic to outcomes.
  • CMS or staging access. Only when we are implementing changes ourselves. Where your own developers implement our recommendations instead, we do not need it at all.

If a piece of work does not require access, we will not ask for it. Where you would rather implement everything yourself, we will write recommendations to be actionable by your team without handing over credentials.

Credential Handling

We ask that credentials are never sent by plain email or chat message. Use your platform’s own invitation flow — Search Console, Analytics and most CMS platforms all let you grant access to an email address without sharing a password. Where a password genuinely must be shared, use a password manager’s sharing feature rather than sending it in a message.

When an engagement ends, ask us to confirm removal and revoke any remaining access from your side as well. Access that is no longer needed should not persist.

Working With Your Data

The data we handle is mostly your own analytics and search performance data. We use it to plan and measure campaigns and to report back to you. We do not sell it, and we do not use one client’s performance data to make claims to another beyond the published case studies on this site, which are used with permission.

Security of the Work Itself

There is a second kind of risk in SEO that is easy to overlook: the risk that the work itself damages the site. A link profile built on private blog networks or paid placements can trigger a manual action that costs far more to clean up than the campaign cost to run.

We treat that as a security question as much as a quality one. Every campaign follows Google’s link scheme guidelines, every link goes through a 12-point quality check, and our QA team checks organic traffic, spam score, relevance, and outbound ratio before any link goes live. No PBNs, ever.

Reporting a Security Concern

If you believe you have found a vulnerability affecting this website, or you have a concern about how your data is being handled, email abdullah@rankwithlinks.com with the details. We will acknowledge your message within 24 hours and tell you what we are doing about it.

Please give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve an issue before disclosing it publicly.
